HDR with subs - cvb1 - 2024-11-13
Hi
I am aware that Jellyfin is unable to transcode hdr > hdr, making hdr with burnt in subs impossible.
But I am wondering if it's possible to get around this in any way? I can't, might just be to stupid, seem to make it work with non-picture subtitles either. Might just be that I am running it on Tizen?
Is this not possible at all?

What kind of non-picture subtitles? SRT subs should be rendered directly on just about all devices. If your subs are ASS subs, that can still require burn-in.
Can you share your ffmpeg logs via pastebin? And the main server log?
