Can someone explain webhook SMTP settings? - Baalial - 2024-11-14
I am trying and failing to set up SMTP notifications, is there a guide somewhere that explains what each setting is for? I've put int my sender and receiver email as well as the credentials for the sender email, ticked the ssl box, and opened port 465 but the logs say that the credentials failed. I also have no idea what the webhook url is supposed to have in it as well as multiple other settings. Can someone drop a censored screenshot of their settings that will give me an idea of what I need in each section?

If it is anything like the Newsletter plugin, and you're using gmail, you need to create "app" password. It is separate from your actual account's password and only allows the application to do specific things (send emails).
