Duplicate Shows - Jacob - 2024-11-17 For my collection of the Marvel shows, I put each season of each show in a separate folder to help with organizing the timeline. Here's my file structure for that collection: Series - Marvel Cinematic Universe [2021][4.3] Loki [2021][4.4] What if .... [2023][5.3] Loki (Season 2) [2023][5.4] What if (Season 2) Because of this structure, Jellyfin displays these shows twice and each listing has the same content unless I disable the auto series merging, then each listing will have its own season only. Is there any way to fix this without changing the file structure? Both Plex and Emby merge the shows/listings in the library as well, not just the seasons. RE: Duplicate Shows - TheDreadPirate - 2024-11-17 You'd need to add the "Marvel Cinematic Universe" folder directly in the Jellyfin library settings. The problem is that if you have OTHER stuff in "Series" that aren't nested like the MCU folder, that would be problematic since you can't add a folder twice (have both "Series" and "Series/MCU" as root folders). RE: Duplicate Shows - Jacob - 2024-11-17 Sorry, I should've been clearer. My folders are already like that: RE: Duplicate Shows - TheDreadPirate - 2024-11-18 Then your folder names and structure are definitely the problem. Seasons of a show need to be together in one encompassing folder. The year, and whatever that number is after the year, should, at a minimum, go AFTER the show name. |
