Server IP couldn't be found - Guardian - 2023-09-05 I just downloaded the newest version of jellyfin and when I click open jellyfin on the tray app, it gives me this error "Hmmm... can't reach this page cumquat’s server IP address could not be found." I tried deleting and reinstalling but nothing changed. I can access jellyfin if I manually type my IP and :8096 but can't connect it to my TV. What can I do? Thanks in advance. RE: Server IP couldn't be found - TheDreadPirate - 2023-09-05 Try manually opening port 8096 instead of just allowing the jellyfin app. Make sure your hostname is tied to your IP (varies by router). That's why it works when you simply use the IP. This is a name resolution error, and will have to be fixed outside of jellyfin. RE: Server IP couldn't be found - Guardian - 2023-09-06 It worked guys. Thanks!! |
