Parental Control - dMisterWb - 2024-11-26

Hello,

i can't apply or save Age Settings in Parental Control of Users it is vanished after going to a other register and back.

I tried different new installs or to map a User Volume in the Docker Container.

I am using jellyfin/jellyfin:latest docker on Unraid 7.

Can any body help. it would be nice.

Server/Web/Build Version: 10.10.3

Docker Config:

Jellyfin
Beschreibung:
Jellyfin(https://github.com/jellyfin/jellyfin) is a Free Software Media System that puts you in control of managing and streaming your media. It is an alternative to the proprietary Emby and Plex, to provide media from a dedicated server to end-user devices via multiple apps. Jellyfin is descended from Emby's 3.5.2 release and ported to the .NET Core framework to enable full cross-platform support. There are no strings attached, no premium licenses or features, and no hidden agendas: just a team who want to build something better and work together to achieve it.

This uses the offical Jellyfin container. This official container should help more people with hardware transcoding since this is a Debian base image instead of ubuntu

Age Rating in Meta Data through Tiny Media Manager

RE: Parental Control - TheDreadPirate - 2024-11-26

This is likely a UI bug. When you select and SAVE the max parental rating it should be properly saving and applying it. But when you reload the page the query to get the current state is likely not working properly. I've seen this for other menu items.

I will look into the UI bug, but my testing has confirmed that parental ratings are saved and applied.

I submitted a github issue.

RE: Parental Control - dMisterWb - 2024-11-27

Thank you very much.

But if i save a Rating for 12 Years. Content with a rating of 16 years and so on is still shown.

RE: Parental Control - TheDreadPirate - 2024-11-27

I switched my test instance to German ratings and I was not able to reproduce. Do you have any "allow" tags on the 16/FSK-16 content that would override the age rating?
