Trouble connecting WebOS client to Synology NAS - James Birmingham - 2024-11-28 Hello, I'm not well versed in networking, so I apologize if anything I say doesn't make sense. I'm hosting a Jellyfin server on my Synology NAS. I am able to connect to this server on both Windows and MacOS browsers. I am also able to connect using the IOS app. When I try to connect using the WebOS app on an LG C3 TV I get "Unknown error occurred, are you connecting to a Jellyfin Server?". I have seen many other people have had WebOS issues related to X-Frames when using NGINX. I'm not sure if this is related, as I haven't seen anyone else report my error. I set up my Jellyfin server using a procedure very similar to the one outline here: https://jellyfin.org/docs/general/installation/synology/. The NAS and TV are on the same LAN. If anyone has any ideas I would really appreciate it. Or something like 30013? RE: Trouble connecting WebOS client to Synology NAS - TheDreadPirate - 2024-11-29 Any XSS, X-Frame, or CSP issues with Nginx don't apply since you are going directly to Jellyfin. Can you share your full jellyfin log via pastebin? And do you have AP isolation setup for some of your wireless networks? Is the TV on a separate guest network? When I went to go try to add the server to the TV again to see if I could get something to show up in the logs for you, it just worked. I'm not sure what changed, I think it could have just been restarting the service and NAS a couple times, although that doesn't explain why it was still working on the other devices previously. Here are the logs incase you are still curious at all, and thank you for the help.
