Caddy Terminal Window - wenzelja - 2024-11-29

Is there a way to run caddy without the terminal window open?

As I understand it, if I close the terminal window, caddy stops running. Can caddy run without an active terminal window open? This is for a Windows 11 installation of caddy, duckDNS, and Jellyfin.

I use a Raspberry pi for Caddy but for Windows this seems straightforward:

It's been a little while, but I wanted to give you the credit you deserved. I used the sc.exe method in the link, and then removed the caddy task scheduler and it works great.

No more annoying open terminal windows, and I don't have to do anything on a computer restart!
