Configure Jellyfin on QNAP for remote access? - spindoctor - 2024-12-02
I have successfully set up Jellyfin for local access on my QNAP TS-251 NAS. But now I need to set it up for remote access via my iOS 18. Are there any step-by-step guides?

The easiest route would be to setup Nginx Proxy manager as a container in your QNAP NAS. First either buy a domain or acquire a free DDNS address from DuckDNS. When you setup Nginx Proxy Manager you will use that address. We have some broad documentation here for configuring Nginx Proxy Manager.

Thanks, but that already looks to challenging for me. I can't even figure out how to install Nginx.
