Issues with 4K files/playback - evilii - 2024-12-06
Hi,
I am using Jellyfin from a {Censored - TDP} provider without any problems with 1080p content. Now I try more 2160p and I use the nvidia shield version without DV support. My issue with these 4k files is that I have to switch to Plex in order to play most of them. I am not really sure why. I can see the file in the gui but no metadata is retrevied nor can I click the edit button and when I click to play nothing happens.
I pasted part of log after I try click to play and some other ERR below. IS there a setting I could change?

Can you share your full jellyfin log via pastebin? The lines you shared are not related.
And can you share the media info for the video in question? And your hardware specs.
