Issues with Live TV buffering - borkode1 - 2024-12-12
I imported an iptv .m3u file to setup live tv and I've noticed, when viewing streams, after a few minutes it just stops buffering. I'm not sure what exactly is causing it, I was viewing jellyfin over tailscale but switched to exposing it over the internet incase tailscale may be throttling it but I'm still experiencing the same issue. Could someone guide me as to what could be the culprit? I currently have hardware acceleration setup, could that be causing an issue? Any help would be appreciated.
I currently run Jellyfin as a docker container on an ubuntu lxc running on a Proxmox server (i5 8400, 32GB Ram)

hm some ideas:
- is it working in your local network?
- can you check "auto loop streams" in m3u tuner settings? some live tv streams need that.
- are you transcoding live tv?
- any jellyfin transcoding logs/normal logs? preferred at pastebin.com
