I want to develop a plugin to manage and organize my family photo albums. Where shoul - aohanhe - 2024-12-14
I really like the software called Jellyfin. I've added the photos and short videos I've taken over the years into a media library, so that I can view them on TVs and mobile phones. I want to write a plugin by myself to automatically group these photos and videos into secondary libraries according to the year and month when they were taken as well as the location. However, after going through the official website's documentation, I didn't find the relevant reference entry for plugin development. Can my idea be achieved through a plugin? Could all the experts give some suggestions and relevant reference addresses for plugin development?
Another problem is that the videos originally shot in landscape mode on mobile phones can't be rotated correctly on the TV. Is there any way to solve this problem? If I develop the plugin by myself, where should I start? Thanks!

Plugins cannot modify the ui of clients.
