Is it possible to fix this problem?
For example when it comes to this:

because I thought you Rain Man types were super good at counting.

Then it can only display the second line. The first line -“because I…counting” won’t show up.

Are these embedded subtitles or external? Either way, SRT subs are just plain text and you can change the time stamps manually. If embedded, you would need to extract them, make your changes, then re-embed the subtitles.

These are external subs being. There are a lot of files, is there some tool to do that. Also, I have only observed this issue with jellyfin apps. It works fine on external player like MX Player.

How do the external plays render the subs? As two lines? And which client are you using? An Android or Android TV client? If this is an Android phone, are you using the web player or integrated player?

I am facing the issue both on jellyfin Android TV and mobile Android app. I am using integrated player. With jellyfin web they are being displayed in two lines but in opposite order.
External player i am using is MX player and VLC player. Both are working fine.

I'll do some testing over the weekend and get back to you. This may be an issue with exoplayer, the playback engine built into Android that Jellyfin uses.
