Wrong blank album covers. - ricks333 - 2024-12-22 I just uploaded my girtlfriend's music collection to my Jellyfin setup. Currently Jellyfin 10.8.10 Many of the albums had art, and they're fine, but for all the albums that don't have art they end up with the same (non-default) image (the image from all places the Linda Ronstatd album). It's like the default image isn't being used anymore. I can set the image manually for each of those albums, but that's impractical. I just want any album with no picture to use the default image for no album picture. I don't understand why that Linda Ronstadt image is being used. I've cleared the cache and whatnot and restarted Jellyfin to no avail. At one point I tracked down the specific image, and deleted it,and then the system switched back to using some _other_ non the default image for albums with no image . But when I re-ran the gathernig of the meta data it went back to the Linda Rondstat image. It's weird. Ideas? ChatGPT isn't being helpful. RE: Wrong blank album covers. - TheDreadPirate - 2024-12-22 10.8.10 is approaching two years old. I recommend upgrading due to A) several high severity security flaws that were patched and B) its possible this is a bug that has since been patched. RE: Wrong blank album covers. - ricks333 - 2024-12-22 I'll admit I tend to not update working environments in the opensource land because more often then not they break along the way. Fixing things where it's an unknown problem rarely gets fixed in a patch, so i'm more interested in what's wrong (and/or how to fix it). RE: Wrong blank album covers. - TheDreadPirate - 2024-12-22 The problem is that pretty much no one is running that version anymore. 10.9 was a huge update, 2 years in the making, with tons of changes, improvements, fixes, and new features. With 10.10 being a much smaller update, focusing on refinement. I can't replicate your problem. But I am on the latest version. Because of that I can't tell you how to fix a problem I can't induce. Backup your data and, at least, give 10.10.3 a try. You can always roll back and restore your backup. |
