Jellyfin refuses to connect - leinmi - 2024-12-22 Hello, I updated my Asustor AS3304T firmware (ADM) and after that Jellyfin that is installed as docker service to my NAS stopped to work. When I try to open Jellyfin with web browser I just get: This site can’t be reached. 192.168.0.22 refused to connect. I am trying to connect to http://192.168.0.22:28096/ which used to work, but not anymore. I used Jellyfin as mediaserver inside my NAS and I could watch content with my TV using Chromecast. I'd like to get this working again... What could be the problem? How can i see if my Jellyfin Server is running - if that is the problem? Chromecast seems to be unable to find my "old" jellyfin server, so I assume something has changed since firmware update. Regards, Mika RE: Jellyfin refuses to connect - TheDreadPirate - 2024-12-22 The Asustor UI should show you if it is running and what port it is on. Double check that the port didn't change (this happened on some Synology setups). If it is running on the same port, go to the directory that you mounted /config go and share the jellyfin log via pastebin. RE: Jellyfin refuses to connect - leinmi - 2024-12-22 Unfortunately I dont see Jellyfin service anywhere in Asustor UI. There is App "Services", but I don't see Jellyfin there. Jellyfin app is in Asustor UI and when I click that application icon I get that "This site can’t be reached. 192.168.0.22 refused to connect." message. RE: Jellyfin refuses to connect - TheDreadPirate - 2024-12-22 I've never used an Asustor NAS, so I can't really guide you there. But it sounds like Jellyfin is not running. I don't have enough info to determine if this is a Jellyfin problem or Asustor problem. RE: Jellyfin refuses to connect - leinmi - 2024-12-22 I reinstalled Docker and Jellyfin. Now I can get pass "This site can’t be reached. 192.168.0.22 refused to connect." phase (that does not come anymore) when i click Jellyfin icon in Asustor Web UI. I come to this screen: http://192.168.0.22:28096/web/#/selectserver.html There is: Select Server, and under that is one server I can click. There is also "Add Server" button. When i click that "ready made" server and try to connect to it, I get this message: "We're unable to connect to the selected server right now. Please ensure it is running and try again." There is no way to tell if server is running or not. RE: Jellyfin refuses to connect - TheDreadPirate - 2024-12-22 Clear your browser cache. |
