Iptv tuner + Jellyfin - liwioa - 2024-12-23
So I set my iptv subscription on Jellyfin server
My question is, my subscription allows me to do 2 simultaneous connection. I imagine using jellyfin, when people watch tv/VOD , my provider will count it always 1 stream active because technically only being played back by one device (jellyfin server)?
any thoughts about that ?

Each Live TV stream started by a Jellyfin client will have it's own connection made to the Live TV provider, either directly by the client or via the server. Even when the same stream is watched by multiple users.

i see , and i guess the same thing apply to the vod/content since its read the same way ?
