Fast forward and rewind does not work in H264 codec content. H265 HVEC codecs work.

How are each playing on the TV. Is the TV direct playing H264? Is HEVC being transcoded?

Tv LG 50uq81006lb. I don't know if my device supports hardware-accelerated H264 decoding, but Emby works flawlessly. It would be great if Jellyfin could handle forward and backward seeking as smoothly as Emby does

Which is why I'm asking whether Jellyfin is transcoding or remuxing or direct playing each. Can you share your full Jellyfin logs via pastebin?
Your TV supports both codecs.
Does this issue happen on all videos? Or only a particular file? A particular set of files (all episodes from a particular show)?

Only h264 videos not working.
Files encoded with the H264 codec, whether from the same series or different series/movies, cannot be fast-forwarded or rewound. All sources with the H264 codec cannot be fast-forwarded or rewound

I deleted and reinstalled version 1.2.2. Still in the same situation

You can find the jellyfin logs in the Dashboard.
