Support multi-track video quality - Checkerknight - 2023-09-12 This thread is close to what I'm looking for, but I would like a way to group multiple versions of the same movie under 1 title in the library. I'm avoiding transcoding so having multiple versions 4k, 1080p and 720p as dropdown options prior to playing the movie would be kinda neat. Just like the dropdowns for audio and subtitle tracks, just add and link another video track. Thoughts? https://features.jellyfin.org/posts/942/support-multi-track-video-quality RE: Support multi-track video quality - TheDreadPirate - 2023-09-12 This is already a thing. But you have to select the version before playback starts. You can't switch during playback. https://jellyfin.org/docs/general/server/media/movies/#multiple-versions-of-a-movie RE: Support multi-track video quality - Checkerknight - 2023-09-13 Well look at that! Guess I didn't do enough digging before coming up with this great idea on my own haha. I'll spend a bit more time on the Jellyfin guides I guess. Thanks! |
