Possible Bug: Refreshing metadata will remove items from collections - JANONYMOUS - 2025-01-02
Refreshing the metadata will remove all movies from their respective collections.
- Collections > Refresh metadata > Replace all metadata
Note that this only happens when selecting "Replace all metadata."

This is expected because during the process the old entry is "removed". If you are using the TMDB Boxset plugin, it will re-add the movie to the collection when the plugin's job runs again at the configured interval.

It also happens when identifying movies in collections that don't use the TMDB Boxset plugin, as outlined in this bug report.
