Similar filenames problem - lymber - 2025-01-05
Hi, everyone! Hope you all have a nice 2025!!!
Being a new user of Jellyfin, let me go straight to the point: I have three files with almost the same name, say DVD1.mkv, DVD2, mkv and DVD3.mkv. On the clients (TV, computer, cellphones, etc) just the first file is listed (and can be watched perfectly). Any ideas on how to see all of them?

Dear all,
Just added some additional characters to those filenames (DVD1-place1.mkv, DVD2-place2.mkv etc.) and all of them are listed in the menu of the "clients". Easy fixing (without a reson to work, but a fix). I'll leave this thread here for the record and future reference.

Are they in the same folder? Or their own folders? You can also add the TMDB ID to the folder name.

Yes,they are all in the same folder, as well as other media which are listed regularly.
