Jellyfin not showing codecs - st616k - 2025-01-06
Im having a problem with my Jellyfin thats installed in a ubuntu machine, i had it installed a couple of days ago and added some movies from a hard drive of mine, and they worked fine and all their codecs showed up, however now after installing some grabber and auto downloaders, the shows and movies no longer show their codecs in the details section, therefore not working at all when trying to view them, i only get a Fatal Error from the browser, and a nothing-load-loop from the media client.

Have you tried re-scanning the file?

oh yeah i figured it out, turns out it was a chown problem, i dont even know why it worked with hdd transferred media though, meh.
