My experience, in the past, using Jellyfin for Music is that it gets it's info from the tags that exist on the files. You might have to use a tool like Mp3tag to change genres on the files themselves

Check your Network settings in Jellyfin. I had to disable automatic port mapping. Set "Remote Access filter mode" to "Whitelist" & add this range "100.64.0.0/10" to "Remote IP Address Filter"

Have you used an open port check site to make sure that the port is actually open ? I've noticed in the past that Jellyfin server has to be restarted after changing those settings.

I use an Apple TV 4K with Infuse 7 as the client & am very happy. Everything plays direct (no transcoding) & haven't had any codec problems.Been using this combo for yeaes & am completely satisfied

What client are you using ? If it's Infuse 7 this was a bug in Infuse & updating to the latest version will fix it. Reinstalling might work for other clients
