Long time Plex user here, new to Jellyfin. So far it has been working fine but there a few features missing or possibly not working for me.
1. In the web browser player, you can select subtitles in a dropdown before playing, but not in the Android TV app, there you have to play it first before selecting CC which is a little bit annoying.
2. Even though I have configured my preferred subtitle language in my profile and set it to "always play", I have to select CC every time I play something. This is extra annoying if watching a show, if I select my CC in the first episode and then watch the second, I have to set CC again.
3. Perhaps there could be a setting to configure what subtitle languages to show. Currently, it shows all kinds like french, german etc etc which I really do not care about. I would prefer if there was a white/black list on what subtitle languages to show in the dropdown with a priority. Like first select language 1, if that is not found, select language 2 and so on.
4. I added the opensubtitle plugin so that it is more easy to find and download subtitles, which is great, but it only works in the browser, not in android tv app.
5. I'm not sure if its not working or missing, but it would be nice if there was a popup for "play next episode" when credits start rolling. As of now I have to just fast forward the credits.
6. Even if I set my Jellyfin profile to english, the Android TV apps is still in the language of the Android TV shield itself. There should be an option to use whatever language you want.
7. The continue watching row is not working that good. I watched 2 episodes from a series, then I would expect there to be "continue watching" for episode 3 but there is not.
8. Possibilty to hide the PG rating in the overview.
