Hi there,
I’m currently running a Jellyfin server on my Synology NAS via Container Manager. The YAML script has stayed untouched ever since the last container update to version 10.10.7, and everything was working perfectly smooth before this issue popped up.
Lately, I’ve been unable to access the Jellyfin server from my DLNA device (specifically a Blu-ray player). I suspect this is a connection-related problem, but the server logs aren’t giving me clear enough clues to pinpoint the root cause.
Another thing worth noting is that I can’t connect through the Jellyfin app on my iPhone either. Oddly enough, accessing the server works flawlessly from my Linux computer.
Given that the Linux machine connects without any issues, the Jellyfin server itself is presumably up and running normally. This suggests the problem is most likely tied to either network configurations or device-specific settings on the DLNA player and iPhone. I’d suggest first checking the DLNA-related settings in Jellyfin and verifying your NAS network configuration as a starting point.
