Hello everyone, I am a complete newbie and I try to do everything I can myself before posting, but I am at a loss over two issues. So I hope I can get help here. Thanks in advance.
Problem 1: I have created multiple libraries and scanned them in. Movies, TV Shows, Audio, Home movies, Photographs, etc. Each library has dozens to hundreds of individual folders, in each folder there are files or more folders.
Just one example of a folder structure Audio/Individual Bands/Metallica/Studio/Black Album and then the individual songs. There are THOUSANDS of these.
The problem is that when I go to Jellyfin on my TV and open the Audio folder (or Movies, Television, etc.) I am not seeing the folder structure, I literally see thousands of random individual songs (in Audio library) or for instance in the Movie library just thumbnails of every single movie, no folders.
I want to see the folder structure. I already checked the box on the dashboard “Display a folder view to show plain media folders” However, it is still not showing a folder view, just all my individual files in each library.
Problem 2: My second issue; a lot of my folders contain files that do not have any metadata out there. For instance, home videos, or some extras, or even a couple old shows. So when I look at the library, there are no thumbnails on the file or the library folder, just blank. Can I manually add photos to the individual files or folders as a reference?
