2 servers on 1 machine?

Hello there.

I have been trying to search for any solutions for this but I can't seem to find a good answer to this.

I am wondering if there is a way to run 2 instances of Jellyfin server on 1 machine? But without using a virtual machine?

The reason is that I need to have metadata in different languages which is not possible with 1 instance of Jellyfin server (for someone who doesn't know English).

And I don't want to use a virtual machine unless it's the only way to do it because I have to setup access to storage outside of the virtual machine and and setup gpu passthrough and other cumbersome things.

It is possible. I do exactly what you want to do, I run 2 instances of Jellyfin.

The key ingredient here is running them on docker.

Just give each instance a different name within Docker, give each one its separate volume, and give each one its own port numbers
