Is there any addon that shows a little icon on the thumbnail of movies that displays what resolution the movie exist in?

    Like a small icon in the corner showing 480p, 720p, 1k, 2k, 4k, 8k, etc?

Or,when come think about it, maybe an addon where you can configure your own views in full? Like thumbnail view, but with resolution, subtitle available in language x, some-other-random-info someone might want.

AFAIK, no. My understanding of how Jellyfin works, this would require a code change to enable any plugin to be able to do this.
    Jellyfin 10.10.7 (Docker)
    Ubuntu 24.04.2 LTS w/HWE
    Intel i3 12100
    Intel Arc A380
    OS drive - SK Hynix P41 1TB
    Storage
4x WD Red Pro 6TB CMR in RAIDZ1
