I am attempting to tag the show "Animaniacs" with the Alternative Ordering as indicated by TVDB, but Jellyfin has no selection for Alternative Ordering. The specific ordering I am attempting is "Joined Ordering," and I believe I have attempted all selections Jellyfin provides, but to no success. (I did refresh). I could have missed one, and will attempt again later, but I was wondering if anyone had any insight on the terminology of "Alternative Ordering" and if it actually correlates to a selection in Jellyfin.

Does TMDB have the ordering you need that uses an ordering name that lines up with Jellyfin?

Not one that has a name that lines up with Jellyfin, unfortunately. The specific ordering label under TVDB is "Joined Order."

I'm assuming we are talking about the 90's Animaniacs (classic!). The 3 available orderings are in Jellyfin's list. Aired, Absolute, and DVD are available from TMDB. The ordering name in parenthesis is what matters.

Definitely the 90s classic. For now I'm planning on using the DVD ording as a starting point.

Also, I understand why there isn't a "Joined Order" selection in Jellyfin, as it seems unique to Animaniacs, but is there a reason why there isn't an "Alternate Order" selection in Jellyfin? I have my guesses but I am not technically savvy. Anyway I certainly appreciate the help!

The list in Jellyfin is arbitrary. It just wasn't included because.....*shrugs*. An oversight? The dev that added it wasn't aware of them?
