Hi !


I saw during my last drive that jellyfin app is also available in Android Auto..
I opened it and all was empty..  the network connection to my server should be fine.
So my question is... is it only for music ?
Are there pland than there would be also movies available ?

IIRC, Android Auto only supports audio.

Im not sure... because with some apps its possible to see videos... (ok regular its stops after going faster than 3km/h)
I will try to find some...
ONce i had a app which suported to start streaming services...

I would not mind if you could watch Jellyfin on Android Auto while not moving.

I got clarification. Our app only shows audio for Android Auto.

Hello,

I was interested in what you posted and I started testing.
I don't use music on my Jellyfin but I passed an album to check Android auto and indeed, movies are not seen but as soon as I added the music album it appeared immediately when I connected Android auto.

In short and complementing what Dread says, it only supports music.

I don't see jellyfin come up at all on Android auto. Did one's but now it's gone is this happening to everyone.
