AndroidTV App crashes before log is created

Hello,
I just rebuilt my Jellyfin libraries, server is running fine, client works fine on my iphone, but the app crashes almost instantly on androidTV and it crashes before the app can upload a crash log.

I have tried clearing app cache, reinstalling, restarting androidtv.

In the Jellyfin app on your Android TV device, can you switch the audio output to downmix to stereo?

alao. i am running a networked dvr from the same machine and the android tv is able to connect to it fine

Is the Android TV device on the same network as the Jellyfin server? Is it connecting through a reverse proxy?

Same home network. I also tried using the dns server address which I use for outside my network and that doesnt work either

additional info: its working on my sony bravia google tv but crashing on all my chromecast with googletvs

Clear the app cache on your CCwGTV device, but before you open the app on your TV can you go to your Jellyfin in a browser.

Dashboard > Devices

Clear out all of the tokens here for your CCwGTV. Then open the app and see if that makes a difference.

update: removing everything from my home screen prevents the app from crashing but now my screen is empty. might be memory issue with the chomecasts
