I've had jellyfin for about 2 years now and never had an issue running it on fire stick TV. Recently some videos just seem to pause (buffer) and then resume constantly. This only happens on the fire stick. Web/tablet/android anything I replays fine. I have a dedicated PC (CPU usage at ~17%) 3060 nvidia GPU 12GB ram with Ubuntu server 22 running. Video files some where between 3k and 6k bite rate. PC is directly connected via CAT 6 to router pushing WiFi 6. Nothing else buffers other than the jellyfin on the firetv. Everything is up to date and even uninstalled and reinstalled jellyfin on the firetv. Not sure what else to try. Never had an issue it was always point and shoot so debug is tough ATM. Thanks in advance

On your firestick, try setting the preferred player to libVLC.

Attempted, it doesn't stop but it does skip a bit. Kinda like a scratched CD

For the lulz/testing, plug that Firestick to a display that is closer to your router. We need to rule out weak WIFI as a problem.
