I am on W10 with Jellyfin 10.10.0. My TV shows are showing duplicate for each episode. My library is on my NAS. A while back I noticed that the drive was failing so I installed another (new) hard drive. I added the new drive path to Jellyfin, as well as the recordings, and deleted the old path and shows. However, Jellyfin still shows duplicate episodes - one from the old NAS drive and one from the new NAS drive. If I try to delete the old, non-existent file from Jellyfin, I get an error that Jellyfin does not have permissions for the drive. The old drive has no media and the location path is not even mapped in Jellyfin - I would think the phantom episodes would just disappear on their own when the library is scanned...but that is not the case.

    Any thoughts?

P.S. The duplicates are only for older shows that were on the old NAS drive. New shows added to the New NAS drive do not show up as duplicates, as expected.

"Scan all libraries" in the dashboard SHOULD remove them, if you have not tried that already.

Another question, are you using NFOs?

Yeah, scanned several times. And no, I'm not using NFOs.

Can you restart your server, initiate a "Scan all libraries", and once that finishes share the jellyfin log via pastebin?

I fixed it by doing "the dance". I moved the recorded shows to a location that doesn't get scanned by Jellyfin. I then rescanned the library. The phantom recordings from the old NAS still showed up but I was now able to delete them from Jellyfin for some reason. I then moved the shows back to the proper library and re-scanned. Only 1 set of recordings shows up.
