Good afternoon,
I would like to submit a few feature requests and suggestions for Jellyfin. I understand that typically only one request should be submitted at a time, but I wanted to outline several ideas that I believe could improve the user experience across both the server and mobile applications.
**Request 1 – Custom Branding on the Mobile App Login Screen**
Jellyfin currently allows server administrators to apply custom CSS through the branding settings to customise the web login/landing page.
Would it be possible to extend this functionality to the official Jellyfin mobile apps so that administrators can choose whether the app uses the default Jellyfin login screen or a custom-branded login screen defined on the server?
This would allow organisations, families, or community servers to provide a more consistent branded experience across devices.
**Request 2 – iTunes Movie Integration**
Is there any possibility of Jellyfin working with Apple or exploring a method that would allow purchased iTunes movies to be accessed or played through Jellyfin?
Many users have existing digital libraries purchased through iTunes, and integration (if technically and legally feasible) would allow those users to consolidate their media libraries within Jellyfin.
**Request 3 – Theme Synchronisation**
Jellyfin already allows theme changes on the server side. It would be great if the themes selected on the server could automatically apply to connected apps as well.
This would ensure a consistent visual experience across:
* Web interface
* Mobile apps
* TV apps
**Request 4 – Mobile App Interface Improvements**
I found the layout and overall design of Wholfin more intuitive and visually appealing compared to the current official Jellyfin mobile app. It may be worth reviewing some of the UI/UX ideas used there as inspiration for future improvements to the official application.
Overall, Jellyfin is an excellent project, and I appreciate the work the developers and community have done. These suggestions are simply ideas that I believe could further improve the platform and user experience.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
