    Hello All,

Big fan of jellyfin, thankyou for creating such an amazing software Purple-heart , moved from plex the experience has been flawless up until now, i primarily use it on my appletv and ipad, ipad version of the app(swiftfin) works like a charm so did the tvOS version till yesterday, the audio sync issue is bugging me, there is a delay 800ms or 1 sec  Slightly-frowning-face

    Troubleshooting/ configuration:

    2) working perfectly on my Mac book Air, Ipad, Ios.
    3) uninstalled and reinstalled the app (tvOS), same.
    4) Tried with different format of videos same issue.
    5) turned on the native player, In experimental, there is no dealy works perfecty when turned on, but no subtitles Slightly-frowning-face

Could you share your install type, server version, and what specific clients you're using? For example host installed or Docker, 10.8.9, Swiftfin/Infuse. Any additional information might help troubleshoot. I'm not super familiar with the tvOS/iOS world, but there's a wealth of information and I know there are some diehards out there. I don't want to point you in the wrong direction, but that extra info would be a great start.

Okay, I found this issue: https://github.com/jellyfin/Swiftfin/issues/677 which doesn't have enough info to really say anything. It's also a bit stale considering it's August.

Only other things I could find have to do with HEVC vs. H264. I recall awhile back there being some discussion about the options on the server, but can't find them. There may be options in Jellyfin to prefer the fmp4-HLS or something similar which MAY help. You also might try swapping the player out, which I'm not sure if Swiftfin supports but my limited experience with an iPhone I flirted with a year or so ago tells me maybe...

Thank you for the link, yeah looks like it is indeed stale, I will try changing the Hardware transcoding for HEVC etc.

I have this same issue. Apple TV 4K 3rd gen iOS 17 and latest Swiftfin client. Windows 11 server

Everything seemed to work just fine until after the iOS 17 update, when I noticed the audio out of sync in everything I try to play in my library.

Jellyfin and Swiftfin clients on iPhone 15 Pro and iPad 10th gen on iOS 17.1.1 work flawlessly. It is only a issue on the Apple TV. After reading reviews on the AppStore for Swiftfin, a user determined the audio out of sync was due to using a HomePod Stereo Pair with their Apple TV, which I just so happen to be using with mine.

Apparently the bug is assumed Closed
