    Good morning,

So im new to the media server scene but seem to be picking it up quick. I have a proxmox vm running 5 core 10 gig ram 32 G storage with nfs to syno nas. I did passthrough my video card but its a crappy onboard intel so its not doing much for transcoding. my client is a roku soundbar.

So this issue is DTS audio. Roku doesnt support it but it does start to play. Jellyfin say the audio is the only piece being transcoded to lossless. It plays fine for about 30 seconds then just stops and goes back to the movie menu. ffpeg logs indicate that the transcoding works but then just stops with log output [q] command received. Exiting. it is transcoding Stream #0:2 -> #0:1 (dts (dca) -> aac (libfdk_aac)). Anyone know the issue or have similar experience? Can I change the encoding or am I just out of luck b/c of roku. Oh forgot to mention the transcoding happens locally on the 32G partition. I am not sure if HD size is the issue but just through i throw it in.

Upload your ffmpeg and Jellyfin logs either here in a text file or to pastebin (preferred). You can redact IPs or domains, but make sure to use placeholders. How much free space is on that 32GB partition...? That's awfully small, but might not have anything to do with the issue here.

Thank you for the quick response here is the log. most of my movies will run directly without transcoding its only DTS that needs to do it so i figured 32G was fine. I started the video again and it dropped while having 16 gigs free so not sure if HD space is the issue.

Do you have Throttle Transcodes enabled? The log shows that transcoding was paused for some reason and the only thing I can think of would be if that were enabled. Dashboard > Playback, scroll all the way to the bottom.

yes i do but this happened before i enabled that. The end result of the client dropping is the same with it on or off.
