Same as title. I am only looking to spend maybe $200 maximum. I would like to be able to stream 4k shows/movies/etc without buffering, 2-3 people all at the same time.
I also kind of want to use the Mini PC for some basic NextCloud self-hosting for photos and whatnot. Anything out there?

The only difference I see is the M.2 NVMe storage vs M.2 SATA storage, so definitely worth the extra $10.
You could get something like this Terramaster DAS. QNAP also makes similar products. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CTTL9R7Z Put in your hard drives and connect them all directly via the enclosure's USB 3.2 connection. You'd need a USB-C to USB-A cable. The documentation indicates it includes a C to C cable and the Beelink mini PC doesn't have a USB-C port.

The NVMe storage option would be noticeably faster. Well worth the $10 price difference. Either option is only 500GB so not a replacement for your hard drives. External or internal.
I had assumed you were asking about how to connect your internal hard drives you currently have in your desktop PC. I assumed you didn't want your main PC to be a NAS or to leave it on all the time. The existing external hard drive would just connect directly as is.

The mini PC would just be an addition and its own thing. That way, I can leave the mini PC on 24/7 instead of my main PC.

I don't really have any specific suggestions for external hard drives. Whatever is on sale from WD or Seagate?
