Nope. My jellyfin server is hosted on my hardware at home. I haven't used any hosting services since the early 00's to run my clan's Counter Strike 1.6 server.

Ubuntu 24.04 LTS
Intel i3 12100

same, the file server is a cloud server that my home jellyfin server accesses but i have never ventured into the cloud gpu space to run a 'cloud jellyfin'
might be something i will have to look at to satisfy my curiosity
on topic though, yes VPS is going to be very limited and i would personally recommend a cloud server which is scalable
dedi would potentially work but not scalable
all three have the deficit of a GPU as already pointed out so these servers will not be capable of hardware accelerated transcoding
for north america if you want a high powered backbone then a server in the ashburn facility is top notch for both connectivity to north america and the eu - phoenixnap used to offer servers in this location
the aforementioned vultr has high end backbones in most regions
rackspace has good services
you can also look into google and amazon aws depending on your needs but they tend to be much more expensive on storage
i can recommend against FDC
anything you look at, perform a tracert to find out if they are a top tier or just a low end reseller
I've heard good things about both. IIRC, Jellyfin hosts their infrastructure on Digital Ocean. And I know a lot of people here use Hetzner for their Jellyfin servers.

Now I just have to decide and get going, I will probably use debian with docker or directly ubuntu, and realize the issue of reverse proxies and such ... a new world! haha the truth that I love it!
