Hi All,
I need some help.
First my setup:
Jellyfin Server/Web/Build Version: 10.11.6
My Server: Synology DS923+ DSM v. 7.3
Jellyfin Deployment: As a container in DSM Container Manager
A few months (and updates) ago I noticed that the Jellyfin icon on my DVD player did not show up anymore (via DLNA) in the list of media servers connected to my Blu-Ray. Thinking it was due to a recent update in the app I ignored it. Recently I was reading a "how to" about Jellyfin and it mentioned to make sure that the DLNA plugin was installed and enabled so that network devices can "see" it. It made me think that there could be a problem with my DLNA plugin as to why the icon was not showing up on my DVD Player's list of connected media servers.
Logging into my instance of the Jellyfin server app and going to Dashboard > Plugins I see that Jellyfin is unable to load the Plugin page. After several minutes the app returns this error message:
! An error occurred while loading plugins.
If I click on the "Manage Repositories" button near the error message I get this error message:
! Failed to load repositories.
If I delete all the files in the Jellyfin server app's plugins folder located at "config > plugins", will that reset my plugins page in the server UI?
I'm hoping not to have to reinstall the container.
This might be a separate issue but I am also noticing that it takes to attempts before I can log into the Jellyfin Server app. Looking at the container logs I see two log-in notifications:
Jellyfin.API.Auth.CustomAuthenticationHandler: Custom Authentication was not authenticated. Failure Message: Invalid Token
and
Jellyfin.API.Auth.CustomAuthenticationHandler: Custom authentication was challenged.
I'm not sure if this is indirectly related to the plugins problem somehow.
I need some help.
