    What codecs are these videos and what browser?

    Browser is chrome as previously stated, codec of the video i've been testing with is reported by VLC as "MPEG H Part 2/HEVC (H.265) (hev 1)"

    Strange. Normally Chrome will ask for a transcode when the original video is HEVC.

    I would assume this might be where the problem lies then, Anyway to make it transcode anyway?

    What boxes are checked for Media Playback?

    I'm out of ideas. What happens when you play HEVC with Edge or Firefox? I'm assuming it direct plays with Edge and transcodes with Firefox? Stick with JMP?

    Both Edge and Firefox Transcode and playback correctly.
    Sticking to JMP would mean no possibility for playback on a phone as both availably apps had the same issue as chrome.

    what "phone" is this and why are you using a browser on a phone for playback instead of an app?
    browser clients are at the mercy of the browser coding and actual clients can do a better job; on ALL platforms
