Hey everyone, i was using my main PC as Jellyfin server for a while with dual boot, but now i want to stick to windows only in that machine and though about scavenging used parts to build a small cheap server, this is what i end up with after some research:

CPU: Intel Core i3 8100 (UHD Graphics 630)
    Mobo: Generic H310 or B360
    RAM: 2x4gb DDR4 2133/2400
SSD: 128gb NVMe (any reputable brand)
Case: Micro ATX slim w/ 200W power supply

I already have an HDD filled with videos so thats covered.

What do you guys think? Is it reasonable? I use Jellyfin to stream to my TV like my personal streaming service, video quality varies from 1080p h264 to 4K HEVC.

Quick Sync in that CPU is still pretty capable. Should be just fine.
    Jellyfin 10.10.7 (Docker)
    Ubuntu 24.04.2 LTS w/HWE
    Intel i3 12100
    Intel Arc A380
    OS drive - SK Hynix P41 1TB
    Storage
4x WD Red Pro 6TB CMR in RAIDZ1

Nice, I got a good deal on a Pentium Gold G5600 (around $ 7), should be similar to the i3 8100 according to specs, is there a reason to stick to the i3 in that case?
