Pretty sure I know the answer, but just want confirmation before I go deleting things. I always save my images, NFO, metadata, and trickplay alongside the media instead of within Jellyfins system folders. In the past, trickplay created a folder called 'trickplay' and episode thumbnails were saved in a folder called 'metadata'. It seems that now trickplay images are stored in a folder called '[media name].trickplay' and thumbnails are stored in the same directory level of the media. So can I safely delete the old 'metadata' and 'trickplay' folders?

Yes. Jellyfin will just not show them until you re-scan and/or "replace all metadata".

    Great, thanks!
