    Hey everyone. Thanks for reading.

I have Jellyfin set up on a linux box running lubuntu. I finally worked my way through the permissions for libraries etc. and have run into a new problem. I cannot access Jellyfin through clients except for the one on the localhost machine. I can access the server page from a windows machine browser but not an ios or android browser on the same network.

I did make sure the setting in windows defender was set to private.

What should my next steps be?

    Thanks in advance!

So Jellyfin is hosted on the lubuntu machine? Is the firewall open?

    Code:
    sudo ufw allow 8096
    Jellyfin 10.10.7 (Docker)
    Ubuntu 24.04.2 LTS w/HWE
    Intel i3 12100
    Intel Arc A380
    OS drive - SK Hynix P41 1TB
    Storage
4x WD Red Pro 6TB CMR in RAIDZ1

That seems to work! Thank you very much. iOS client can sign in.

I’m new to Linux and when I checked earlier it said ufw was not turned on. Guess I should have checked anyway.

    Thank you!

UFW is a frontend for iptables. If UFW is not enable that means any of the rules created within UFW are not enabled, but iptables is still running.
