I recently attempted to update my Jellyfin and it had an issue so I aborted and then reset my system and confirmed that the server was turned odd before trying again and the update went through but when I try to open the server it is unable to connect at this time (even on the host device!) And I rechecked all of my fire wall, rules, I copied my configuration file from my backup of before the update. Even stranger is that even if I turn off Jellyfin if I go to my local 192.168.x.x instead of localhost:8096 it will open a jellyfin that is from my host but doesn't have any of my config saved or users/libraries. Along with this I have a tailscale and wirh the tailscale on it still only responds to the 192.168.x.x despite me being able to ping the 10.x address. I really don't want to have to remake the server and am hoping someone can help.

Root directory also is still showing my libraries if that is of importance

The smallest log I have is over 3mb and the largest not working log is 7mb so it took me a second to realize I just needed to zip them sorry for the wait

From both of these logs you are running 10.8.10. Which directory did you backup and restore? C:\ProgramFiles\Jellyfin? Which contains all the executables? Or C:\ProgramData\Jellyfin? Which contains your database and configs.

I forgot to put in the original comment that I had tried to go back to 10.8.10 in hopes of that restoring it to previous functionality since I just wanted one of the updates to the comic reader which I saw someone mention was added in 10.8.11 and was fine to go back (to 10.8.0) while I figured out what I did wrong and that didn't work either and presented the same situation that .12 had, so I can run the update to .12 again, and I backed up both the C:\ProgramData\Jellyfin\Server (named 10.8.10 backup) and the C:\Program Files\Jellyfin\Server files as well.

configs are contained in C:\ProgramData\Jellyfin\Server\config the backups are in the ProgramData backup

Do you only have backups of C:\ProgramData\Jellyfin\Server\config? Your database with your logins and library are in Server\data.

If you have backups of the jellyfin directory in ProgramData, might as well uninstall Jellyfin completely. Clear out both ProgramFiles and ProgramData of Jellyfin folders. Install .12, copy the backup to ProgramData.

I have the entire JellyfineWoozy-faceerver directory which includes \data and I'll run the uninstaller and try again and update you after (thank you for your time and help up to this point I am appreciate it)

I ran the uninstaller and then installed .12 and it appears to of properly copied all my files but the GUI is still not able to be accessed on the host device and Http:localhost:8096 will pull up the choose a server page still (but if my server is selected it cannot connect) while my IP address without tail scale (but the tail scale address will respond to a ping) pulls up a seperate server that as far as I can tell is interacting with my hard drives but not the server I have saved in my files and I'm unsure as to where it is saving files

Try an incognito tab. Clear your browser cache.
