    Good morning,

Running the server on a laptop connected wirelessly to my home network. Laptop is running Arch Linux and I am using the jellyfin-bin repo from the AUR.
I can access the server via web browser on the host machine using localhost:8096 or the machine's local IP 192.168.1.28.
When trying to access the server via LAN from another device, the connection times out. I have tried to connect from a mobile phone (wireless) and a desktop (ethernet). I have not changed any of the default networking settings.
Other software (namely Syncthing) is working fine on the LAN, and DLNA appears to be working as well.

    Any advice is appreciated!

You may need to open port 8096 in the firewall to allow external connections. It looks like Syncthing uses uPnP, which is how it can work without manually opening the firewall.
