Ive started to use jellyfin and I noticed that when I have NVIDA transcoding turned on, some of my movies refuse to play and say that the server is not sending a compatible format, how do I fix this?

Depends. What are your system hardware specs? OS?

What checkboxes did you check in Dashboard > Playback? As far as I can tell, only H264, VC-1, and MPEG-2 are supported for decoding. Did you check additional boxes?

Can you share your ffmpeg logs?

Discord is blocked on my work Internet so I can't see your log, but you shouldn't check all those boxes.

Those check boxes are for accelerated DECODING, and all but the three I mentioned are supported by your GPU. Uncheck everything except H264, VC-1, and MPEG-2. Uncheck Allow encoding in HEVC format, if that is checked. Disable tone mapping.

This should result in software decoding, which your PC should be able to handle. It should then encode to H264.

I'm assuming you selected "NVENC" for hardware acceleration? Did you follow the Nvidia setup guide for Jellyfin? There are a couple extra steps you need to get transcoding to work on Windows. I don't know if it would fall back to CPU transcoding if not setup properly or if it would fail.
