Cast Images don't showwup until clicked or manually loaded

TLDR; it is a complicated issue. But it is being investigated. No workaround or easy fix, AFAICT.

Has the bug been fixed in version 12.2? Because after scanning the people again, I still don't see any images for many movies. And even clicking on them still doesn't bring up a photo for many of them.
But I'd rather not delete the actor photos again, because I've added many of them manually now. And can the bug only be fixed by deleting the photos again?
