Change default subtitle option

Is there any way to modify the global default option for subtitle selection? I'm talking about the setting Subtitle mode that can be configured on a per-user basis:
   

I download subtitles in several languages, but most users don't actually need them, so having this option to be set to None out of the box would be great.

You might be able to disable subtitles per library instead of per user, untested by me, but give it a try.

Well I do want to enable subtitles for users to select them if needed, from what I understand that option completely disables them? Unless I'm mistaken

What I'm looking for is to change the default option for newly created accounts
