    Transcoding x265 works on some files but not all and web player cannot read it

    There are a couple git issues related to this with older 1080P Chromecasts.

    Based on your post, I'm assuming that #3 is an acceptable workaround for you?
    Jellyfin 10.10.7 (Docker)
    Ubuntu 24.04.2 LTS w/HWE

    For me, it's not an issue, but for other users, including new ones, it is not user-friendly. I'd like to open a ticket on GitHub.
