    Hi there everyone

I'm running jellyfin on omv-compose (docker) and just did an upgrade from omv6 to omv7
All seemed to work fine but i decided to update also the container so i did a dow, pull, up.
Now this has worked ok in the past but now i'm faced with weird behavior.

I have several accounts for me, wife, older kids and one for the smaller ones.
I am the only one with admin rights.

Clients are running on pc win10, android phones and android tv

After pull, up, all clients except mine (both desktop and android phone) stopped working.
After a few restarts (client and server), my desktop client seemed to work but was extremely slow to react and most options in the user menu were not working.
So i did a log out and log in and now i only have a blank black page with nothing on it.

On my phone i only get a black screen with Jellyfin logo.

All other clients work ok except most options in the user menu don't do anything.

My wife's phone seems to work ok, menus and all, but i don't think i have updated the android client to latest (woman's phone - a mess).

I looked at he server logs but did not see anything unusual.

Please help me debug this as it's gonna drive me nuts.

I think the clients on the phones should update themselves from the app stores. There's normally nothing you need to do. The same goes for Android TV.
The Win 10 client (I assume Jellyfin Media Player) should have requested an update for some time already too.

The Jellyfin update causes its database to get reorganised.

    Thanks.

All clients are up to date (except one, but that one has no issues).
The server was not up to date so i updated it and with that came problems.

Right now all non admin clients work except settings page which mostly does not work.
The clients with admin rights (mine, both on win10 and adroid) don't work at all.

    So i'm at a loss ...
Maybe there is some log somwhere to tell me somthing but the ones i found say nothing

The 10.9 version of Jellyfin or rather the web client seems to have serious issues with caching.
You could try to log off from the clients that don't work, clear the cache if it's a browser, kill the app if it's an application, then log back on again and see if this does the trick. I had similar issues after upgrading from 10.8.13 to 10.9.6.

My friend's Jellyfin app on his Android phone is stuck on the Jellyfin logo since the upgrade. We haven't had a look at this yet as he normally uses a browser on another device but it could be a related issue.

I accessed the web portal in the browser and all worked ok.
I reinstalled win10 desktop client but problem persists.
I deleted the "Jellyfin" folders in ~user/appdata/local
Restarted client, reconfigured and now it works correctly.
Also, uninstalled and reinstalled client on my android phone and, after firstly complaining about something with power saving, it now works as expected.

So something about local client configuration creates problems when updating the server ...
If deleting local client config then restart and reconfigure, all works well.
