    Collection "play next unwatched"

    Defaults to alphabetically unwatched

Not sure if this belongs in bugs, or if it's user error/not intended.
I am using the Jellyfin app on a Chromecast/Google TV

I have some collections set up on my Jellyfin (just through right clicking and clicking "add to collection") and I have been using the "Play All" button on the collection itself to watch full franchises.

My issue is that when you try to resume from this, specifically to restart a movie you didn't finish, and right click and click "play next unwatched" it will play the next alphabetically unwatched film, instead of the next one in the collection list. For example my MCU collection will start on Ant-Man instead of whatever I was actually on. In order to resume an auto play state I need to hit play all on the collection and just skip to the next movie.
I have even made sure to tick and untick "watched" so that the movie I was currently part way through would be counted as unwatched.

Is there a way to have the play unwatched "queue" to be in collection added order instead of alphabetical default?

My understanding is that the queue created from clicking "play all" is generated on the client and ephemeral. Some clients will preserve queues locally (ex: Finamp), but I'm not sure many, if any, others do. Once the client is closed nearly every Jellyfin client will discard that queue.

IIRC, you can go to a collection and "Add to playlist" the entire collection. And then re-order the items in the playlist as you like. The playlist is permanent. Once you are done, delete the playlist or just delete all the items in it.

Totally forgot to check back in on this post! I will look into playlists as well. It's not a huge deal to have to navigate back or anything, it was just an interesting that that I discovered and thought I would see what was up. Thanks for you responses as always!
