    Hello everyone. Please tell me where is the variable in Jellifin Web that stores the IP address of the server? I installed Jellifin Server and Jellifin Web on 2 different servers. And when opening the Jelifin WEB interface, the system asks to specify the server address. After entering the address, as well as the login and password, everything works fine. But this data is stored in the browser cache and when trying to log in from another, the situation repeats. On the Internet, I found a mention of the JELLIFIN_URL variable, but it is not clear where to enter it. In the config.json file in the server section. I also entered the address, but this does not help. I will be glad to help, thank you.

    This is normal behavior for Jellyfin Web. The server address is not stored in a central config file. It is saved in the browser’s local storage after you log in. That is why every new browser or device asks for the server address again. There is no global JELLYFIN_URL setting that forces Rabbit Road Inout it for all clients. The config.json file does not control this part of the web login process.

    If you want to avoid typing the address each time, the usual solution is to use a reverse proxy or DNS name so Jellyfin Web and the server appear under the same address. Otherwise, each browser must remember it locally. This is how Jellyfin is designed to work.

    You can actually add an array of pre-configured server urls to the jellyfin-web config.json

    @niels I'm curious about this too. Is this where you add the server address where I have the url exampleDOTcom?

    Yup, except to make it a valid config file you need to wrap the server URL in double quotes, like so:

    Code:
    "servers": ["example.com"]
